While we were visiting Wan Chai one weekend, Keith came across a poster advertising a HK International Sumo Wrestling tournament. Um, yes! This sounded amazing to Keith and I, especially since we missed seeing one while in Japan (we still need to go visit Tokyo for that).
When we arrived to the event, we were surprised that it was free and also found it hilarious that practically all the fans were either coaches or family/friends supporting the sumo wrestlers. Well, either way, Keith and I loved watching the event. There was a women's division and men's division. Check out the pictures! Most of the participants were from European countries, but there was one sumo wrestler from the U.S. Of course we cheered him on and we were happy to see him defeat his opponent! Go US! USA! USA!
This event was a fun way to spice up our weekend. I love random events!
